Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This policy explains what information cjjutba.dev collects and how it's used. cjjutba.dev is the personal portfolio of CJ Jutba.

Information I collect

From the contact form, when you send a message, your name, email and message are emailed to me via Resend. They aren't stored in a database. To stop the form being abused, a one-way hash of your IP address and a count of messages sent from it are kept for two days, then deleted.

From the guestbook, to sign it you sign in with Google or GitHub. Through that sign-in I receive your name, profile picture and email from the provider, and I store your name, profile picture URL, the provider you used, and your message in a Postgres database (Neon). I never see or store your password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google and GitHub.

Cookies

When you sign in, a session cookie (set by Auth.js) keeps you logged in. The site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Analytics

The site counts page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across sites or between visits. It records the page, the referring site, the country and the type of device and browser. The site runs no ad trackers.

How your information is used

To display your guestbook entry and to respond to messages you send me. I don't sell or share your information.

Service providers

Hosting and page view counts: Vercel · Database: Neon · Email: Resend · Authentication: Google and GitHub · Scheduling: Cal.com. Each processes data only to provide its service.
